Exploring System Generated Emails

A number of functions within the MARINA MATE system offer the opportunity to send emails.  The content of the emails are loaded from user defined files.  Depending on the subject matter of the email, pseudo variables may be coded into the text files, which are replaced with relevant information.  Also when generating any report or document for printing, it may also be emailed to a selected recipient.


Associated to the Emails:
  • The layout and text content of emails are user defined
  • Email is sent with system calls to Office Outlook
  • Both simple text and HTML formatted emails may be sent
  • Emails up to 200KB in size are supported
  • Pseudo variables within the text content files are replaced with data, such as dates, amounts or names, relevant to the subject matter.

  • Contract Management - PDF contract sent for review and approval
  • Contract Management - PDF invoice for moorage
  • Contract Management - thankyou for moorage contract payment
  • Guest Management - thankyou for reservation booking
  • Guest Management - confirm cancelled reservation with refund of moorage deposit
  • Guest Management - PDF invoice for visit
  • Guest Management - reminder of reservation for upcoming visit
  • Guest Management - request to confirm upcoming visit and provide an ETA

  • Club Member Moorage Billing - PDF invoice for moorage

  • Event Management - announcing an event to members or clients
  • Event Management - reminder of the event
  • Member/Client Moorage - notice requesting updated insurance documentation
  • Moorage Postings - announcing the posting of available moorage

  • Sublet Management - end of season summary of sublet days and credit totals
  • Lounge Assessment - summary totals for period and annual allotments
